    Angry T-mobile prepay and t-zones?

Does anyone have the $5.99 t-zones package on a t-mobile to go (prepay) plan?

I tried to add T-zones to my account and T-mobile said they cant do it + don't support it on prepay...

    Thanks,

Yep; the prepaid only has the "walled garden" of CNN, 4INFO, and sometimes ABCnews / ESPN. For what it's worth, I haven't gotten the iPhone to work with the prepaid's walled garden (but haven't tried really hard).

However, there is a contract-less T-Mobile option to get a data-plan; sign up with a FlexPay account and you can add any service. FlexPay works in that they bill you for the month ahead (prepaid) for the same price as the contract plans (i.e. $30 for 300mins + nights/weekend, etc.) You can then add the $6 or $20 data plans onto this. That said, obviously it's not true pay-as-you-go since you are buying a block of minutes, but I think its the next best thing. BTW, overage is cheaper on FlexPay at $0.20/min instead of $0.40.

I say this having switched a few months ago from the 1000 mins plan to Prepaid, since I was only used ~200mins a month. Now I'm switching to the promotional $50 family plan (on FlexPay) and adding data.

Ok, shame but thanks for the info.

I think I will be staying on my current t-mobile to go plan and just using wifi (which is fine). I am the kind of phone user who only needs a $100 refill to last me 1 year so a $30/pm account is too much for my needs.

Now all I need is the iphone to support 802.11x so I can use wifi at work! grrr

Same here (<200 mins per month) but my wife is a talker, so I'm switching from prepaid to piggyback on her via family plan. Any family members you could hook up with? It just adds $10 (+$6 for data) to add another line in with someone else.

    Two different questions:
1.) Total Internet settings on T-Mobile: use the following settings (from Howard's Forum Wiki):
Under EDGE settings, set the APN to "internet2.voicestream.com", blank the username and password.

2.) YouTube: I had success with the PAYAC method on Windows, detailed here: http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3658
