It's wap.voicestream.com. Leave both username and password blank. Tmobile BB plan works great.

user/pass should be blank. that's confirmed to work on my blackberry, and the iphone should be no different.

If you have a regular internet plan, internet2.voicestream.com should work. wap.voicestream.com is only for the old T-Zones plans, I think, and you need a web proxy in most areas to use the T-Zones plan. Big pain in the butt and I eventually moved to the 20 buck a month deal with my old Treo.

Also, if you have the VPN plan, it's internet3.voicestream.com.

I have Edge working on my software unlocked iPhone right now using the T-mobile BB plan and the wap.voicestream.com usr/pass blank combination. The BB plan also uses wap.voicestream.com, not just the T-mobileweb. Log into your T-mobile account online and change your phone to a blackberry phone and add the service for $19.99 if you want to try this Edge service. Took a few minutes to activate for me in NYC.

It's wap.voicestream.com, add ".com" if you have not. And restart your iPhone if it does not work at first.

Actually wap.voicestream.com is still used for the $19.99 blackberry plan which works great with the iPhone. If you have T-Mobile Web (used to be called T-Zones) it also uses wap.voicestream.com but you will need the web proxy. I heart T-Mobile is dropping their Total Internet price from $29.99 to $19.99, which is great we don't have to use the blackberry workaround to get internet at $19.99.
