Hi, been using this guide http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=439
to convert the songs in iTunes library into Ringtones. The first one I tried synced to iphone and showing as a Custom ringtone. Tried another one and synced that to iPhone but this time in Ringtone in iPhone NOT showing up except the first one I done. Both ringtones are showing in Ringtones in iTunes but only the first one is showing in iPhone. Both songs been trimmed to 30 secs and renamed as mp4r. I am using iTunes 7.6 on a PC. Can anyone help?

Trim the second one a little bit more. See if it works then. Good luck

some files just wont work no matter what you do, i also don't understand why people always say its a time thing. there does not seem to be a time limit (atleast not with SOME methods) as iv put entire songs on mine. (it could be a size limit?)

if you have one problem ringtone i seggest that you download the song file again from a P2P service and retry.

That's an interesting point of view. Actually, I do have a few ringtones up to 40 secs.

Yeah, but I still think timing has something to do with it. Not to compare or anything but my wife's w960 will only take certain songs at certain lengths as ringtones. They'll come out as ringtones on the phone but either won't play or refuses to set them as ringtones. I dunno. Maybe its a size thing not just length. Maybe some songs (especially those downloaded from p2p like limewire and such) are a lot bigger at 30 seconds than another song is at the same 30 second length. I have yet to have a problem with my iPhone and ringtones so I can't really say for sure....

Trimmed the second song from itunes to 25sec, sync to iphone, still not showing in Custome Ringtones, BUT it is showing in iTunes Ringtones! TRied many times still no luck

BTW, how do u remove a ringtone in Custom Ringtone on the iPhone?? Alos something OT, I am fairly new to hacking the iphone, when people say they installed Installer 3 , do they mean Installer.App??
