Hi

i have my laptop and my desktop, all my music files and libraries are on my desktop.


i activated my iPhone with the "Dvd Jon Method Activated Iphone" on my laptop.

now, i connected my iPhone to my desktop, and wanted to move some music files, by drag and drop, and it wasnt working.


so i thought of trying the auto sync playlist, but it didnt allow me, and prompted me to erase and sync..i didnt, i canceled the operation...

if i accept it and erase and sync from my desktop computer, will the activation be removed and the phone will go back to as i received it from apple store (new, needs activation)?

it will really help if someone has experienced with this issue.

Hi there,

If you install a program called swap song via installer.app, I believe it allows you to sync with 2 computers. I thin you would need to use the program to swap back and forth between the 2 sets of music.

The program is called "SwapTunes" and you can find more information about it here.
The easiest way to install this application is using the famous installer.app

i'm curious about the same thing too as i've just purchased a new macbook pro and want to make that my only computer so if i was to accept "erase & sync will it remove my activation, sim lock or even upgrade my unit to 1.1.2?
