Any help would be great! thanks!
You could try backing up your phone and then using the Sync Calendars with Outlook option in iTunes.
ie., choose your iphone under Devices in the left pane of iTunes, click the Info tab, in the Sync Contacts With pop-up menu choose Outlook.

Once your iPhone is connected to your PC and iTunes is loaded you can right click on your iPhone and select exactly what you want to have sync'd.
    1. Under the Info tab you will find Contacts.
    2. Tick the "Sync contacts with :" and select Outlook from the list.
    3. Click "All contacts"
If you wish to put all of your iPhone created contacts into a different group in Outlook you can select the group there also and tick the relevant box.
iTunes always displays a warning about over writing data but that is not relevant to Contacts. Data is always merged.
I hope this solves your problem.

Try this way to transfer the contact to outlook.
    1. Connect the iPhone to the computer using the supplied USB cable and launch the iTunes application. iTunes displays your iPhone on the left panel under "Devices".
    2. Click your iPhone on the iTunes panel and click the "Info" tab. Click "Sync contacts with" and select "Outlook."
    3. Select "All Contacts" if you want to sync all the contacts from your iPhone to Outlook. If you want to select specific contacts, click "Selected groups" and place a check on the contacts you want to sync to Outlook.
    4. Click "Apply" to sync your iPhone contacts to Outlook. Click the "Eject" button on the right panel and disconnect your phone from the computer. Close iTunes.
    5. Launch Outlook and click the "Contacts" tab. You should see the imported iPhone contacts.

There are two ways to export iPhone contacts to Outlook on your computer: via iTunes and via third party tools.

You can use this method to transfer contacts from iphone to outlook. Note that this is a one-way method of exporting contacts FROM iPhone TO Outlook.

You can alternatively sync iphone contacts to Outlook via iTunes (note this is not a one-direction transfer, rather a two-direction sync):

    1. Open iTunes.
    2. Connect your iPhone and wait for it to appear under Devices.
    3. Select your iPhone. This displays the iPhone Preferences.
    4. Click the Contacts tab, under the iPhone tab.
    5. Select the "Synchronize contacts from" checkbox.
    6. From the menu, choose the program (Outlook, Outlook Express, or Microsoft Address Book that contains the contacts you want to sync with your iPhone.
    7. Click Apply.
    8. A dialog appears, telling you that a program is trying to access data from Outlook.
    9. Select the "Allow access for" checkbox.
    10. Choose a time limit from the menu:

    11. Click Yes to close the dialog.
    12. Click OK to close iTunes preferences and begin the sync process.
