    Default (Swiss)-German keyboard layout

    Unfortunately I didn't find a satisfying solution of a (swiss)german keyboard layout.
    They were either still QWERTY or not well implemented. Therefore I created my own solution.

    - QWERTZ keyboard
    - and characters added
    (I know isn't a (swiss)german letter, but I use it quiet often, for french names etc.)

    Get it if you want, ignore it otherwise :-)
    (Swiss)German Keyboard Layout

    Cheers
    Saimen

    Sorry, I thought there were enough guides describing how to install these files :-)
    Well, there are two files in the archive, UIKit and Keyboard-StandardQWERTY.artwork. They somehow have to be copied to "/System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/" on your iPhone. I made it using SCP (on a Mac, or using WinSCP on Windows).

    Here's the scp command:
    scp UIKit root@<ip-of-your-iphone>:/System/Lib...rks/UIKit.framework/
    scp Keyboard-StandardQWERTY.artwork root@<ip-of-your-iphone>:/System/Lib...rks/UIKit.framework/

    I hope that helps. There are also other ways to transfer files from/to your phone.
    Just google it or search in this forum.

    Saimen, there's a little failure =)

    The Button "Y" has the big Letter "Z"

    So I edited it: http://www.zshare.net/download/3671693cc61ef9/
    The two Files (UIKit and Keyboard-StandardQWERTY.artwork)

    And look here:

    Following files must be copied to iPhones /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework

    * english-unigrams.dat
    * english-stems.dat
    * english-unigrams.dat
    the Files are here:

    I have no idea how that happened :-)
    However, thanks for your correction. My files are now updated too.
