    Hi
I did a winpwn on an Iphone that went to IMEI 0049xxxx...
i used the iClarified tutorial, and now I'm running 2.0.1 (5B108), the GSM works OK but with Wifi grayed out.

I downloaded swifi and uploaded it to the iPhone via iPHUC, i changed bootneuter to 3.9 with fakeblank on, rebooted the iphone and followed the instructions below
    http://wikee.iphwn.org/sgold_bootrom:fixwifi

When I run the swifi i get a response Killed every time
    What am I doing wrong?

I am also on 2.0.1 and have experimented with swifi.
    On http://wikee.iphwn.org/sgold_bootrom:fixwifi

When I get the the step to run swifi, do i just type 'swifi' at the terminal prompt? I have tried this, but it says unknown command...?

Worked out how to run swifi, but on my iphone on 2.0.1 it doesnt get any further than 'wifi fixer by MuscleNerd'

    anyone else had luck?

swifi was released to run on 1.1.4 firmware with a 3.9 fakebland bootloader.

You guy are running on 2.0.x firmware so may be that is why it's not working.

NOTE: I HAVE NO CLUE IF THE FIXER WORKS ON 2.* BUT I AM JUST TELLING YOU HOW TO GET PAST THE KILLED MESSAGE

simply type in ur terminal / ssh session:
    Code:
    ldid -s swifi
where 'swifi' is the tool that is in the same directory as u r in

I downgraded to 1.1.4, and finally run the swifi (after almost 20h trying)..
    I got the following result

    # swifi
    wifi fixer
by MuscleNerd, gray, and the iPhone Dev Team
    Actions taken:
Active table was restored from backup

    but.. without this line
    "Backup table checksum was corrected"

    Then.. the wifi stills Grey

I've upgraded now to 2.2.1, the wifi returns but.. doesnt find any network (yes, i have wifi connection here).

When I try to run the "swifi" again.. now i received the "killed" message again!

Anyone knows what i can do now?

dude, try swifi again, or, buy a new commboard off ebay. OR, do NOT restore your iphone with your backup as the .plists get messed up!!!
have you tried resetting your network settings? that fixes A LOT of issues sometimes. That's why I tell everyone TO NOT restore backups when switching firmware, or restoring, it's just a BIG MESS.
Try restoring again to 1.1.4, run swifi, and back to 2.2.1, WITHOUT BACK UP. just set it up as a new phone, and, manually put what you need in it, like everything in /private/var/mobile/Library -sms -addressbook -lalala.........

(of course, before doing all of that, just try to reset your network settings and see how things work out)

    reps up if this helped
