Default Super Noob Caller Id Question

Hey guys just wondering who here has their calls come in like this:

    http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.en...-iphone-id.jpg

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my caller id pictures to display as a small icon in the top right corner.

For me, whenever anyone calls their caller id picture is expanded to display as a full background behind everything instead of just a small icon. I'm on 1.1.3.

I would much rather have their picture show up as a small icon instead of it being the entire background.

Anyone know wtf im talkiing about? I tried setting different pictures and setting pictures from camera or from iphoto library etc etc, i tried everything.. this has to be something dumb and/or not possible if im not with at&t so if anyone knows.... please..

I know what you are talking about. Its all about the size of the picture.
I am on a Mac. The "big" contact photos are synced. I had to open Adressbook on the Mac and the contact, where I want the small image size later shown on the iPhone.
Open and "edit" the contact. Doubleclick into the picture and Adressbook will popup an editor for the picture. There is a slider, move em all the way to the right. Do that an all the contacts you wanna have the small icon (or better first try with one). Sync and you are set.

dont know how this works on a windows-pc. If you are using Outlook, open the picture there and try to lower the size width*height

smaller (first zooming, then getting smaller), you will see a live preview, just tried it on my own picture. found that out cause i used to have a nokia smartphone before, synced with my mac. once i got the iphone i synced and only had the tiny pics from your sceenshots. i wanted the big ones - so just the other way round ;-)
You may have to add new photos to your contacts to make it work, you will see when you try on one and check on the iPhone.
