Summerboard 2.11 is not recognized as updatable in Installer

I have Summerboard 2.11 installed via installer few months ago. Recently I've noticed that there is another Summerboard 3.0b1 in package, though it's not listed as "updated'. Are those different versions? Can I install the new Summerboard over old? Is the new summerboard safe to use on 1.0.2? What's new?

the version you have actually has more options (hide last row etc) so i would say not to bother. The scrolling goes sideways as apposed to vertical in current version you are using (2.11/1.0.2)

Thanks for the info. I'm just wondering whether the old Summerboard I have might be the source of the problems with latest Customize...

I think even if you had the newest summerboard installed, customize would still give you problems. It's pretty buggy. Since updating to 1.1.1. all I read is people complaining about customize.
