Default Sucessfully unlocked 1.1.1, but ...........

I sucessfully virginized my unlocked 1.02 and did a 1.1.1 update, which is also unlocked perfectly.

    UNTIL

I had to modify the number formats and dialing format. Now, my phone cannot even be turned on. It gets stuck at the apple logo when you first switch it on.

    Help!!!!

Do a restore of 1.1.1 Then you need to reverse to 1.0.2 (follow the Independence Help tutorial). You won't need to re-virginize the phone, so once you're back to 1.0.2 you will just need to run the "Pre 1.1.1 Upgrade" procedure of Independence and then re-upgrade to 1.1.1 I know this sounds like a pain in the ass (I had to do it myself yesterday) but it won't take you longer than 30 mins.

As for the International nuber format I just followed these 2 steps:

    Hi,

I tried connecting my phone to the computer, but none of the programmes like Independence or iFuntastic, even iTunes, can detect it.

Nothing happens when I plug the phone to the computer.

You'll need to do a shift-restore of your iphone firmware.
    Then re-do jail-break of V1.1.1.

I encountered the same problem. It turns out I was using the old Appsupport file for V1.0.2 instead of V1.1.1. Do check to ensure your Appsupport file is for V1.1.1.

And you have to put your iPhone into special restore mode first. (The one with blank screen, not with the iTunes icon.)

If you don't know how, you can find the procedure by searching for a thread started by Kmac1985.

Arg, I just done this too! Can anyone do a bit of an explanation of what I have to do? I used the REALLY ULTIMATE Guide for Windows in this forum to jailbreak and unlock.

And I've restored to 1.1.1 using iTunes, now what should I do?

    Hey guys,

Thanks for the replies. Well, I just did all that, had 1.1.1 jailbroken and all.

But when I ran anysim on it, it said anysim could not unlock the phone.

    Why is that so?

Hi there. It did the exact same thing to me the other day. But guess what? Although I got the same error message from AnySim the phone was unlocked and works fine with all the sims!!
