Stupid question - read-only vs. jail
Maybe stupid question, but now i'm confused. And please read my question, before you'll answer
. After last restore (i'm using iActivation on Mac), i installed Installer.app and put iPhone back to jail - iTunes was working without problem (syncing of music and video and contacts) and i was installing apps with Installer. But today i've found, that my iPhone is read only, if it's not "jailbroken", so i can't write with ssh/scp, nor with terminal on iPhone directly, Installer.app is not working as well. After jailbroking i can do it all...
My question is: did i missed something, and if iPhone is not out of jail it's read-only all the time (then i really don't know what i was doing
, or did i messed something when i was preparing for "geo hack"?
Thank you.
