Street View doesn't work?

Just updated to 2.2 (Canada) and I'm going to places I know have street view (like NYC) and keep zooming in and nothing shows. How do you activate it? Or did they disable this in Canada like bunch of App Store apps??? WTF?

Street view isn't available everywhere

If you see a red pin touch it and you will notice a on the left of the information an orange man logo..

click that and its drops a street view

Search for (Baltimore Washington) on the maps app and you will see what I mean

You can look around in the city I live in. Spokane, WA far as I know its the only city in Washington State that is mapped out. (too lazy to check again)

ok.. search for a location next to you, or drop a pin, or get your location. when you do that, click on the pin, and you will see an icon next to the 'name' of the pin. click on that icon and it will go into street view mode. took me a while to figure it out also.

Thanks guys - I guess this is the first time Apple UI has failed if you ask me. I honestly had no clue how to 'activate' it - needing to drop a pin first... I was looking for something easy like on Google Maps - when you zoom in, steets turn red or something if the area has Street View. Oh well, now I know - but it kinda sucks I needed instructions... And I'm not that dumb I thing LOL

Also just to note, not every where in NYC has been "street viewed". I work in Manhattan so I was hoping to check out my office, no luck. I was however able to say the very next block over, go figure. Have fun!
