is it still possible to restore if you've never updated to 1.1.1?
no one here has been able to give me any help on the iphone thinking i have 6 gigs used in "other" when i actually don't so i'm worried i might have to restore. otherwise i literally have 6 wasted gigs on my phone.
now since i never went to the 1.1.1 and i'm still in the old 1.0.2...can i use the restore/option/select the olf firmware and get back to where i was? currently i use the supersim for t-mobile and i've used both ifuntastic and uindependence to activate my phone. will i be able to do this still? will it be essentially just like it was in it's original virgin state since i never went up to 1.1.1?
thanks

Sound like your phone need to be put back into jail. Try rejailing it with whatever program you were using.

Sure you can.
Just use the option+restore and choose the 102 ipsw file.

if you're just going 1.0.2 back to 1.0.2 is the procedure that simple. plug into itunes. hit restore while holding the option button. choose where i kept the 1.0.2 firmware dmg folder and go through the normal process? after i select the old firmware again is the rest the same. go through the restore than just use independence or ifunatastic to unlockload and go back to my saved files?
