Default staying on 1.1.4 - any reason to upgrade itues to 7.7

i really don't care about any of the 2.0 software upgrade and don't plan on doing anything until landscape emailing and texting and cut and paste are available. is there any reason either to or not to upgrade itunes? are there any issues for 1.1.4 users?

    thanks

    alan

Yeah, I've been having a hard time with 7.7 and 1.1.4. Maybe it is an isolated case, but I had to re-import my library thrice, erase my phone twice, and now everytime I connect the phone, it takes more than 2 minutes for iTunes to recoginze the phone.

I say don't do it if you won't upgrade.

looks like not only the 2.0FW is having issues but also the itunes 7.7.
