The IP address you listed above is different from your ping and telnet test. Instead of telnet, try:

ssh root@192.168.10.207

yeah, just noticed myself, but that was only one out of the many times i tried it - i used ssh root@192.168.10.207 all the other times..

tried reinstallting ssh/sftp via independence once again..

"Successfully installed Dropbear SSH, SFTP, and SCP on your phone."

UICtl says au.asn.ucc.matt.dropbear daemon is running.

All i get is:

powerbook-g4-4:~ myusername$ ssh root@192.168.10.207
ssh: connect to host 192.168.10.207 port 22: Connection refused
powerbook-g4-4:~ myusername $

Again, really appreciate your assistance.

Finally managed to connect (on a different WIFI-Network), but now i get

"-sh-3.2#" in terminal and whenever i try to cd or anything else i get

"Connection to 192.168.10.108 closed."

this happes right after i type "cd" and hit the space bar.
