SSH on iPhone OTB 1.1.2
I have an OTB 1.1.2. I am confident it has the new bootloader as it's a week 47, but I wanted to check anyway and see SSH running.
I downgraded to 1.1.1, activated, jailbroken with independence. I also installed SSH with independence, but then upgraded to 1.1.2 and now it's still jailbroken (installed a bunch of apps with installer.app), but no more SSH.
How do I install SSH on 1.1.2? Should I use the openSSH package in installer? Do I need to first install the BSD subsystem?
You've got further than me !
After following all the instructions and after installing Oktorep and updating (not restoring) back to 1.1.2 it appeared I was back to square 1 with a locked unactivated iPhone. I ran Jailbreak, selecting SSH, but it hangs on the
'Generating RNS Key' (or similar) every time. So stuck with 1.1.1 and no phone.
No idea, I'm a total newbie here.
I followed the tutorial here. When I used the jailbreak.jar I did NOT select SSH. Try that way. Also, but I don't think this would make a difference, I ran jailbreak.jar from xterm using the same command as in the windows bat file.
