    Default Speaking about the sw unlock...

    What do you all guys think Apple is going to do with the software unlock if it's out?
    Only one answer comes to my mind when I see Apple arranging contracts with European carriers - fix it!
    And I think Apple's not going to add any significant features to iPhone until IPSF issue clears out. And when it does Apple will be out with a new featured update and firmware (if required)!

    Otherwise I don't see any ways Apple can persuade signing of such contracts by European carriers.

    err dude releasing a update is going to do nothing, ppl will just not update lol. Have a iphone with one new extra feature locked to at&t. Or a unlocked iphone ? hmm hard choice

    Yeah imagine if the new firmware update has the long awaited TrilianIM chat feature for the iPhone, FM radio support, recording video capabilities and flash enaled Safari.

    Man as much as those do sound like amazing updates, living in Canada means that I don't really have a choice but to unlock it. I can't use it on AT&T so either way people living outside the US wouldn't really benefit from those updates.

    After the special event:
    Apparently new features are out only after IPSF issue is resolved!
    Just as I thought...
    I'm almost sure the software is ready actually.

    Well, they kinda did add a feature..

    I'm assuming the iPhone will also have the Starbucks feature.. So I think I can pass on that one.

    Now, if it was Tim Hortons on the other hand, that's an upgrade I'd just have to do.

    or the iTunes store feature, again something that was extremely boring.

    Opening the device up for 3rd party addons is what would be very enticing though.
