    when you join a usb device to a linux system you have to mount the device
    use the mount command look it up on google. Usb devices must be mounted first then they will be visible in virtual box.

    linux doesn't always auto mount usb, but there is usually a mount app in gui versions.

    I suggest if you can't work it out you go back to windows as linux isn't really a beginners OS

    Actually I have been using linux for almost a year now. No problems its just that virtual box has been very frustrating It took me a month fo fix that annoying proxy error. I understand everything but I just am frustrated with this. .

    I am not spamming up the forums with this problem this is my only thread? Thanks for showing me that *SIGHS* I cant fix my iphone. . . Yet.

    Question

    So what can I do? I want it so that when I am on V all the usb devices are directed there and not to ubuntu?
