Some1 make a decision for me! LOL
I can't decide... should I get the 4GB iphone which is now $299 while supplies last, or just get the 8GB iphone?
Obviously size is the difference, but I don't have more than a gig of music and I'm really not sure what the benefits of having the 8GB iphone are other than you can store more stuff.
Help me decide plz!!!

Hehe, extra $100 isnt a biggie for double the room. You may need it down the track

I cant put 1% of my music on the 8gb model. Not even the 160gb model will fit my music.
Unless you have like 3 songs go with the 8GB.

Just think about what you have on your ipod, I have had a mini, then had the nanos, and I never fill them up. I only listen to singles so I have never even come close to filling up my nano so I didnt bother getting the 8gb iphone. i dont think you can have someone answer that question for you, if your are going to fill it up with music then get the 8gb, if you have only a few songs then its a toss up, just my 2cents

8GB iPhone = 7.27 GB of Storage. 1000 songs plus a movie and 3 TV shows - thats it, full.

what about a 16gb ipod or a 8gb iphone? Which of these should i buy. I dont want to get a new contract with at&t. If I buy the iphone I will only use the other things not the phone for now until there is a software unlock.

This is an interesting question... if you just use one of the activation programs (iNdependence, iActivator, iFuntastic), I would guess that you could just use your regular AT&T SIM without having to sign up to a new contract. I'm not positive, but I think the phone is only locked to AT&T SIM's and the Activation process is what causes existing customers to have to sign up for extended contracts.
Anyone have confirmation on this?
edit: This answer is assuming you have an existing contract with AT&T... that's how I read your post.
