Hi,

i have just updated my iphone to 1.1.2 and unlocked it with iFoneguides method. I have some questions now:

1. how can I delete open ssh. Cannot find it in the uninstall section of the installer. I tried to install and uninstall it with the installer but it didn´t work?

2. how can I turn the german dictionary on, which makes it easier to write sms?

3. how can I rearrange my icons that the springboard looks exactly like the original one (with the itunes icon on the last row). I would like to scroll to see other applications. I can't find any tool who makes this possible, summerboard moves the itunes icon to the "next page".

1- Use Winscp/Fugu to SSH into ur phone and delete folder SSH.app inside /Applications
2-Go to Settings> General> International> Keyboards and turn on German keyboard.
3-You can rearrange with Customize or XLaunch, you cant scroll vertical, just horizontal.

1. worked fine even if i used Finder to delete SSH.app
2. dictionary does not work, neither the German one, nore the English one
3. Customize crashed but XLaunch is great.

I neen additional help for 2. The German dictionary was the main reason for installing 1.1.2. Writing sms without dictionary sucks

go to installer.app, tweaks 1.1.1 -> install kb2.

this is what you must have done in the past. Even if not.. do it and you will get a new option in settings->general->keyboard which will say "Autocorrection on/off" yours will be off.. simply turn it on.. im german as well and i dont like it anyway..

ok, thats strange. i have autocorrection now, but it's the English one even everything else is in German and the international settings entry is gone ???

mh verstehe ich nicht.. ich würds mal komplett restoren.. am besten 2 mal damit keine überreste bleiben.

darf ich das denn? ich hab ja von 1.1.1 mit aktiviertem octoprep upgedated. Wenn ich jetzt restore, ist der installer weg und wie bekomme ich den dann wieder drauf? Kann ich bei 1.1.2 den mit iBrickr draufspielen?

mh da würd ich vorher nochmal woanders nachfragen..sicher bin ich mir da auch nicht. jedenfalls sind noch irgendwelche überreste von 1.1.1 und deinen modifikationen im system.
