ironic, isnt it? cant unlock my iPhone coz my battery was out

I had that problem with my first try. Just connect your iphone to the usb port and let it charge till it turns on, you will prob have "no wifi" by now, do a full restore using iTunes, after restore wait for the complete battery charge and start again (jailbreak, ssh, etc).
And watch out the battery your next try, make sure to not take too much time between ieraser and iunlocker command so you dont run out of battery again.
About the iunlocker stoped at 2DFF00, or your battery died when the command was executing or you made an incorrect nor file.

Yes ... I agree, just restore and start again, and just be sure to have enough battery before run the ieraser command.

2E4000 is 3'031'040. So check in Finder that your nor file is 3'031'040 bytes. Regarding the charging, it should be possible with the iphone shut down. Did you try to just wait some time? Mine took several minutes before starting once I drained the battery.
