Default Some advise would be gratefully appreciated

So I have had my iphone unlocked for weeks and then yesterday someone called and the phone began vibrating and wouldn't stop even after I answered. I turned off the phone and turned it back on only to be greeted with, "Repair Needed iphone cannot make or receive calls."

The iphone was version 1.02 so I tried updating to 1.11 to see if that would help. While it was restoring and updating to 1.11 I got an error and now the phone is always at the same screen with a picture of a power cord and a cd?

Every time I try to restore now I get a 1101 error. I have tried holding downt the alt key on my mac and trying to restore with a 1.02 verion but I always get the 1101 error and the picture of the power cord.

Any help would be really appreciated.

    Thanks!

P.S. When I tried apptapp (dosent work at the end though I get a bootloader error) it actually reboots to the main iphone screen with the emergency dial option but when I enter the dial code *#numbers* everything is blank like IMEI, VERSION, etc...

same thing happened to me (error 1011)
what you do is try to hook it up using iBrickr (the new version)

    follow directions.

better yet, search error 1011 in this forum and you'll see what other people have done to get out of that situation.

you might wanna go and upgrade to to 1.1.1 while you at it.

i'll find the thread nad link it

Oh BTW, next time search the forum for the answers or the people (experts) here will bitch you out for not looking for the answer before you post...
But i know how you feel.
Information here are so overwhelming with lots of peoples opinions and sometimes misleading info.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post. I really do appreciate it.

I actually did look around quite a bit and have tried allot of different options based on what I have read, as I'm not a big fan of people not researching before they ask a question either. I just have had no luck at all.

I will try ibrickr on a friends windows computer as I have a mac, and have had no luck.

    Thanks again
