Default [Solved] Hotmail log in won't work in safari

Okay, i've searched the forum, but i couldn't find this one.
When i try to log in into my hotmail account i can't log in.
    What happens:

    I go to hotmail.com
    Fill in username and password

    Problem:

Safari reloads the page. Also when i clear my history and cookies, i can't find a sollution.
Sometime it works and i can read my e-mails, but most of the time i can't log in...only my username is filled in. When i fill in the password and press ok, or "sign in" it reloads and this bullsh*t starts over again!

This sucks...it's only with this Microshaft page, other mailaccounts works perfect!

    It's a 1.1.2 iPhone, but i also had this problem with 1.1.1.
    What to do???

The same happens to me i was able to use hotmail though until i hit save password and username the it just reloads the same page,

I think this might be down to the fact the mail.app doesnt support hotmail so maybe the iphone blocks us from acsessing it on the web?

But that dosent explain why i was once able too!

Strange huh? There is realy no structure in it.
My girlfriend doesn't have that problem. But she doesn't also use hotmail that often.
Also when i save the password i still have the problem.
    I think it's hotmail's security.
Only...other https links works fine :S...u too?

Same thing happens to me. Since it only happenes about once every 24 hours, my solution is to power the phone off and then on again. After that, its smooth sailing for at least another 24 hours.

I use Safari on Windows and there's a problem too but slightly different. It doesn't bounce back to login page, it just keep bouncing! It keeps redirecting back and forth between 3 or 4 URLs until I hit stop. I think the problem is the compatibility of Microsoft pages with non-IE based browser.

Hm, so Safari has the same problem on a Windows machine. The other thing is, Safari on a Mac works fine with Hotmail.
I think indeed that it's a security problem, Safari won't route you to your mail. Sometimes it works.
After rebooting it works, but just once So a reboot clears something, i think...but what?!
I think we have to deal with it.

Not really, there is a workaround.

You can forward your hotmail to your gmail account and get your mail from gmail straight to your phone.

In hotmail, go to settings and look around, it's somewhere there.
Voila, enjoy your mail directly to your phone.

No, both safari on mac and win have the problem. It happens when you log in to your mail and close the window, without logging out. If you visit hotmail.com again, the pages keep redirecting. Microsoft keeps changing things in order to get ppl to use their bloated software. Anyway, remember to log out before you close the page or visit another msn website where there is a log out option, like windows live spaces. That way, you can log in again. That way, you can log in correctly again.

I just gave it a try and it worked. I guess I have to change my habit because I never explicitly log out.
