5th time Flashing Iphone Results
OK Guys,
this is the fifth flashing of the Iphone
the Good thing about this recent flash is that i was able to make a call, but it got disconnected after 3 rings, tried again, it rang almost once,
and on the third attempt to make an outgoing call i get the "busy tone", and displays call ended, and i can not call the phone either, it says phone out of zone
so there was something good about this recent flash,
OH!! and the carrier logo (name) appears to be stuck, i mean it no more shows one bar of signal and then goes and comes
another thing that used to happen on the other flashing tries is that if i switch off the phone and turn it back on i get "searching" > no service > one signal bar> full bar with carrier logo> every little while the signal bar comes and goes
while now
on switching on, i get "searching> carrier, and then i get full bar reception with the carrier name
so, my guess is, i am going to initiate another RESTORE, IA, it will work
so if u find anything that can help me pls DO post it
thank alot
Zuz if u are reading, Keefo, email me or send me an sms

All these symptoms sound like the ones i had before opening and fixing my phone.
Doesnt seem to be a software problem(aka baseband reflashing etc) for u too.
Maybe u should consider opening it.And since u re close to ZuZ,might wanna take it to him,if u cant do it on your own

I've had the same problem with the baseband crashing when entering low power mode and subsequent missed calls until the phone is awakened and restarts the modem.
After reading this thread, I have opened the antenna cover and removed the two screws on either sides (not the one in the middle). My phone now works again! We'll see for how long...

Might just work if you try this:
Enable / Disable iPhone brick state (fix No Carrier issue)
Introduction
This here program allows you to manually enable / disable the brick state on your iPhone.
If your iPhone no longer makes calls, or appears to have NO SIGNAL then it is likely the firmware has enabled brick mode.
You can now easily disable the brick state with this program (must be compiled first)
Additionally, the brick state can be enabled across reboots of the iPhone. Bricktool has been tested on version 1.1.2 of the iPhone software.
Instructions
How to use it on an iPhone:
-From a command prompt, to enable the modem:
./bricktool
-From a command prompt, to enable the modem:
./bricktool d
-From a command prompt, to disable the modem:
./bricktool e
