I used ziphone 3.0 and that had ssh pre installed so I assumed the same was the case in 2.5 but I guess not. The other thing to check is that you do not have navizon 2.0.2 installed it seems this is a battery killer also. These were the two things that sorted my battery issues

I don't have navizone installed. Never did....

I would like to try bootneuter again and try to upgrade the bootloader to 4.6, but I'm afraid to after what happened last time...do u have any idea why it failed, and I ended up getting my wifi, bluetooth, greyed out along with my wifi addresses and such all blank...

I was wondering if maybe just going back to 1.1.2 and using my stealthsim would be better for battery life....if so, is it true that although I would restore my phone to 1.1.2, the bootloader would still be 3.9, and can only be upgraded back by bootneuter at this time??

I will post results of that when I have some...

    thx
If you have installed openSSH then it's installed, if you haven't installed openSSH then it's not installed.
You are the one who should know if you have installed it or not.

if mz baseband is already unlocked (I am using Orange as a carrier) do I still have to do it when I try bootneuter? like setting neuter to on and baseband unlock to on?

    hey dude,

the same thing happened to me, and then I had my wifi, bluetooth all greyed out. Along with no signal as well.......I had to do a DFU restore to 1.1.4, and then I unlocked it again....

I don't know if that was the correct course of action, but I got my phone back up and running again....

Well after reading the thread I cant tell: 1. I had reported this problem since I used ZiPhone early february, so nothing to do with Bootneuter.
    2. The problem doesnt involve BL 4.9 I dont have it, never had it.
    3. The problem is somehow WiFi doesnt stop connection if it is in rest/sleep mode AND it has a live WiFi connection just before the phone went to sleep.
    4. The solution I found I posted it here, if it is useful for somebody, just tell. Greets.

I truly believe this is an EDGE/gprs issue. Possibly Mail.
To me it seems battery drains connected that kind if use.
    Anyone else inti that theory?
