I can tell a little change. Thank you.

UK iPhone 16GB 2.0 running on Swisscom
Hmm, just an observation ...
I have 1.1.2OTB (UK), upgraded to 1.1.4 with BL 3.9fb unlocked via iPlus.
Did the BootNeuter flash today to 4.6
The phone was connected to the charger and I noticed the charge indicator showed a big change after the flash. Surely the flashing cannot have taken that much more power, besides, it was connected to the charger anyways
Something to do with the way the charge /discharge happens rather than running processes ?
I'm on 1.1.4 using iLiberty+ for the unlock, with bb 04.04.05_G and bl 3.9fb; can i go to bl 4.6 with no problems with my baseband?
Although I was quite skeptical and I still can't understand how the bootloader can affect the battery performance, I confirm that this WORKS! (1.1.2 OTB 48week, 1.1.4 firmware now with 4.6 instead of 3.9).
Yes, and I can add one more.

The occasional battery drains stops.
And occasional need repair disappear
And it seems this in a away related with the Gray wifi.

I have the same problem with drainage of battery as presented here.
I'm on 1.1.4 which was originally 1.1.1 and then of course bl 3.9.
Is there a possibility to upgrade the bootloader to 4.6 with bootneuter even though it never was on my iPhone?
This is my OOB 1.1.2 iPhone, testpointed to 3.9 from 4.6.
I was very interested in this battery drain subject so I made a test.
Originally: 1.1.2 4.6 OTB
First unlock: 1.1.1 > Jailbreak > H/W Unlock > Anysim > 1.1.2 > Anysim
Now: Restored to 1.1.4, unlocked with ZiPhone 2.5 (unfotunately)
(Never restored or upgraded to 1.1.3)
Brightness: [-o------] almost at this point
Auto Brightness: on
Ask to join networks: off
WiFi: when evet not needed turned off
Mail send & recieve: once a day
iPod: never used
Youtube: used once
Phone and SMS: used normally.
Weather & etc applications: never used
And the result is 7days 10hours... And belive me there is no cheat in any kind in this test.
So I wonder if 4.6 really changes battery drain. But then again, ziphone didn't downgraded my bootloader...
I'm running 1.1.4 on a 1.0.2 OTB 4GB, unlocked with iPlus. Thus I've always been on BL3.9, with the best unlocking solution there existed (at the time anyway...).
As with everyone else, I've noticed a massive decrease in battery life ever since upgrade from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4. Recently I've been researching on this issue and have the following findings that have brought back my OTB battery life:
- Followed the "Full Reboot" instruction as described in this thread in the Official Apple Discussion Forum: http://discussions.apple.com/message...851978#5851978
- Disabled Auto Email Checking in Email Settings
- Disabled Ask to Join Networks in WiFi Settings
One or combination of the above has fully resolved my battery life issue, and I have definitely never touched my bootloader neither have it neutered it.
I suggest anyone experiencing the problem give the above a try. I haven't had the time to further deduce the above to pinpoint the exact cause, and I probably never will as I'm not really bothered by them.
