well it was fine before 1.1.3 but when i upgrade to 1.1.4 battery drains fast.
theres 1 thing i never tried is to downgrade 1.1.4 to 1.1.3

I used ZiPhone 2.6B (I think) on my 1.0.2 (virginized) -> 1.1.4 phone, so it already had a 3.9BL, but I'm having the same problem too.

Would this fix work? Do I risk messing up my BL?

very clear that all have the battery fast drain problem must try to upgrade your BL
if downgraded by zcrap or alike from 3.9 to 4.6 by using bootneuter, if will solved
then thanks to raffi if not just discover your own solution...
it was validated by him no technical explanation but according to him it is really the
culprit of his problem, so give it a try for those w/ this kind of problem, discover the
mystery

I tried that and didnt work
and anyways the ask to join networks was ON on my 1.1.2 and i never had battery drain

There's no risk of messing up your BL unless you just interrupt the process in the middle of the upgrade but other than that i did it 4 times already and no problems.

No1 can deny that there's a battery drain problem when you upgrade to 1.1.4 for many people and i have tried every signle solution out there and this one has solved the problem

i have tested downgrading the BL to 3.9 yesterday and after a couple of hours in the testing my battery drain started again
so today i have upgraded to 4.6 again and the problem stopped

For me this is the reason, i cant give you any technical explanation to why the 3é9 is draining battery but i know for sure that the 4.6 stops it

I can confirm, its really true. I tried bootneuter last week and it really solved my battery drain problem. Dint get time to post it here in the last few days. Trust me guys. It works. Battery problem solved

I just felt that in 1.1.4 the battery drain is caused due to the EDGE being on. When i switched my EDGE off i witnessed an increased battery life. Just try it it might work for you!!!!

ooo... latest firmware n bootloader are still the best..

My edge was always on on 1.1.2 and i didnt have battery drain problem
