    Default SMS problem

After installing iSMS, i cannot open the main SMS app. When I open it, it stays there for 2 seconds and then goes back to home screen. I uninstalled iSMS and the same thng happens. I installed back and the problem is still there. The iSMS apps opens fine but when I try to compose a message, it goes back to home screen.

    Help!

    Here you go guys..

    Date & Time.plist
    GlobalPreferences.plist

Straight off a freshly Jailbroken 1.1.2 (OOB).

right guys I know you probably think I am spamming or trying to get my post counts up or something but honestly I am not.

after reading many posts on the other forums aswell, I see TODAY many people have the SAME problem as me and it started TODAY !

so putting 2 and 2 together I decided to set the DATE back 2 days and see what happens. Now I can sms !!!!!!

I don't know what the problem is guys so I still need help, but at least I got an explanation now !

    My story...:
Last night I got 2 sms.
I opened SMS app and when I clicked to the new sms (both from the same person), the SMS app crashed and got me back to the home page.
I tried to open the sms 50 times, some of them, the SMS app crashed when I tried to open the sms, some as soon as the SMS app opened!
I cannot open ANY of the other sms too!!!
I cannot create a new sms either! Crashes all the time.
It just shows me the list of the sms.

I tried to use the weTool, but it crashes every time I try to run it!!!

The SMSD runs, and opens the messages!
I deleted the 2 sms with SMSD, but the SMS app and weTool still do not work!
I cannot send an sms using SMSD because it crashes too.
I cannot export the sms through SMSD to email because it crashes!

    P.S. I have the 1.1.1 upgraded from 1.0.2

setting the date 2 days back restores the problem. WTF?

Should I replace the files with the ones above?

    Hmm this is weird.
I have the same problem, and tried troubleshooting it by opening application via SSH. When I open them via the icon, they crash. When I open them via SSH, they work perfectly.
The crash can be only observed I have date greater than January 12, if I change the system date to Jan 12, they work perfectly.
