    Default [SMS] Backup on PC ?

    hi, i'm trying to backup one of my conversations. is there anyway to do this on a pc. all help very much appreciated!

    Hey,

    You can do a full backup of SMS, Contacts, photos etc. through iTunes > Just plug it in a click sync.

    go to www.modmyifone.com register, and in their downloads section, under tools (if i remember correctly), there is a program called iDataBackup. Download that, plug your phone in and launch that program. Then just go to file Export Conversations, and it'll save every one of them to a .txt file.

    Or:

    /var/mobile/Library/SMS/sms.db is the location of the actual file. You can just SFTP it out of there periodically. It's nice.
