Hi All,
I am new to this forum. please help me with my iphone. My iphone fell down two day back and small portion of the touch screen is not working (where default ipod icon is visible on the home screen). I am not able to run ipod application...where as i have a work around... just double tapping the home button i am able to run ipod application.

This is fine till now.,.... my problem is with... "slide to unlock and slide to answer".
i am not able to slide the small arrow completely to other end to unlock or answer the call. i have to power off the phone and then give a call back.As the damaged portion is not feeling the touch... the arrow is coming back to left side..


Is ther any way we can reduce the sliding length... i mean not sliding till end but sliding half way would unlock/answer the call.

please do let me know if anybody have any ideas...

Get it to an apple store and see if they'll give you a new one.. Or you can try to replace the screen.. Though I'd take it to a store first and try and get a new one

i have found an alternate tap to unlock.. i dont know whether will it work or not
