It seems my phone will receive incomming calls just 1 or 2 minutes after I put it into sleep mode. After that it won't. Like it would loose power...it's so sad!

ok. I have this working on my current iPhone. I have seen 3 people now say it has worked a two that say it doesn't. Under settings>sounds, under the ring profile, turn off vibrate. Got my iPhone ringing again in sleep mode. Not quite sure why it worked on 4 and not the other 2, but it def seems to be a sw issue... Leads me to believe there has got to be sw fix.

I just tried it with my phone! It doesn't work
Maybe the 'no vibrate setting' has to be combined with other settings.

But I found out a different way how to make it ring. I have to go into shuffle mode (so it plays forever) and play music. I then turn the volume totally down. When the phone goes to sleep mode, it actually rings. This is definitely not a good solution...but it's better then then having a brick. Tell me if that works for you!

Anybody has an idea what playing music constantly (no volume) does to the battery? I hope it will last not just a couple of hours.

Well, I guess the good news is that this can probably be fixed with software change. I hope a talented developer will take a look at this!

@ecaramaschi: Are you still going to try the hardware solution?

I did your tip yesterday, the battery didn't hold even a day!

About the hardware solution, I bought the iphone opening tool, and it will arrive on monday. Probably on tuesday I will have an answer

How did you turn off sleep mode? Auto-lock set to never? Please advise, I've got the same problem.
