    2. Find the file:
    com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist
    Then rename it to:

Mine is a week 50 phone.
    I opened it up.
And can confirm there is some very sloppy work on the coms board.

If you lift the cover you will find points marked with a red felt pen.

This is what they do when a board fails quality and is sent back to be fixed. They identify the problem areas with a marker and send it to be fixed.

If you read my posts on the wifi issue. Its all to do with Power Management. The wifi wheel spining is nothing but the main CPU trying to change the power mode of the wi/fi chip.
Same power managemnt issue with the phone waking up when it gets a call.
Im pretty sure there is one more plist file that is particular to the wake even on receiving a call. The one mentioned is just the second.

Im also starting to believe that the only real fix for this issue is hardware. i.e. a new coms board.

    I am from week 50
Think all the people with this problem are week 40-50.

Playing with the s/w will not help you unless your playing with the Baseband / boot loader.

My theory is that people facing this problem have restored their phones many times using diffirent methods this has resulted in some coruption of the baseband / bootloaded.

Updating the baseband / bootloader is something even Apple things 10 times about doing and we guys keep playing with it.

The other theory is that we call carry our phones in our pant pockets and they get a lot of force / Presure. Which causes issues with the delicate connectors.

I will be getting a new coms board (40-80$ on ebay).
And will be swaping it out to see if this cures the problem.
THen once and for all we will know if this is a s/w issue or a h/w issue.

Another Theory is that aplle has figured out if you have hacked your phone and doing something really naughty i.e. runing their cracked app store apps. And then turns off your wi/fi to punish you.
It also checks to see if you have changed your IME/WifI/Bluttoth address and if it detects that you have changed them will lock them out.
THis was a fix by Zibri which obvioully worked for some time but apple patched out.

All will be known in a few days.

Ps: If you use this mode your battery life is reduced drastically.

    Thanks buddy... You've helped me.

I've used iPhoneBrowser, then navigated to the folder, renamed the above mentioned file and voila - no more incoming call misses.

    iPhone 2G, 2.1, jailbroken & unlocked.
