To those of you for whom IPSF or BaseBand upgrade did not work, I rcommend trying iMapiddle. I have had it running for quite a few days now with 1.1.2 OTB and 1.1.1 and it works great. Battery life is certainly longer than JohnTool (and much more stable than this one) or playing songs. It uses the Idle service, which does not consume lot of system resources, and it is very stable. Just deactivate Edge and accept the fake imap account which comes by default with the app. It will check if Edge (or Wifi) are active to connect to the Mail Server, then stop and background as long as those services are closed (or it will not find the iMap Server in case they are active, as you prefer). Do not forget that the app seems to be bound to SpringBoard, so you will have to start the app every time you switch on the phone or reload SpringBoard (for example, when you install an application or change a new SB theme). I think it is worth a try. It works...
    Good luck.

Yesterday I had my iPhone upgraded to 1.1.3, and did the baseband upgrade as well.

At first I was very hopeful, I did a test calling myself, and it apparently worked!

The rest of the battery remained there for the hole night, what a dream!
But this morning I missed my first call

Iīll keep testing for a while, but I think itīs gone... Gotta buy a new iPhone, or change the commboard...

Hopefully it is fixed rodolpho. I have been testing mine now for 5 or 6 days... however long it was since the BB upgrade came out with the 1.1.3 and must have called my phone 300 times. It is still working so I am confident that the problem has been fixed for me.

There's a delay between the moment you put the phone to sleep and the moment it stops waking on ring. I'm afraid you've probably just called it too early

FWIW, i've upgraded to the new baseband firmware today and it didn't do any good. Same ole problem. However, it seems that disabling power management now has less of an impact on the battery than before. Not a major improvement, but i get a bit over a full day of heavy usage now whereas i used to get around 12-16 hours on 1.1.2.

It may sound weird, but i'm starting to believe Apple's downclocked something (either the graphics accelerator or the CPU) in 1.1.3. Not only is the battery life slightly better, but all the pretty eyecandy seems a bit more sluggish now (sluggish as in lower framerate, not as in slower).

My battery in 1.1.3 stay the same,24 hours more or less as i said in post 258 for 1.1.2.
i noticed that if summerboard is installed the battery drain faster about 12/15 hours, bad news it's a nice app.

restoring to 1.1.3 and using ziphone resolved problem.

1.1.3 otb was downgraded to 1.1.1 unlocked and jailbroken and updated to 1.1.2 using tutorial here: http://iphone.unlock.no/OTB112unlock.htm and had a no ring on sleep issue as described in this thread. the solution found in post 188 found here: http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/show...t=7699&page=19 was a good work-around but resulted in quick battery loss. did a restore to 1.1.3 (not option+update) and then used ziphone to activate, unlock and jailbreak. i am not running leopard so had to use a windows-based version. ended up using the one found at i.unlock.no and do not have the problem. phone now rings on sleep.

This maybe the solution for some of you.

if you have navizon, uninstall it.
when i was on the 1.1.2 firmware, i had this problem right after i installed and use navizon (makes sense since navizon messes with the radio). anyway, i uninstalled it and rebooted the phone and the problem went away.

Had the same issue with my phone (1.1.2 OTB), no incoming calls during sleep mode, when waking it up from sleep mode I consistently got the "no signal" message, even though it would reconnect shortly after.

Was able to fix it by putting it into recovery mode, restoring a fresh 1.1.2, used ZiPhone to unlock/activate/jailbreak, upgraded to 1.1.3 via iTunes, ZiPhone again to unlock/activate/jailbreak.

With 1.1.2 the problem persisted, after the upgrade to 1.1.3 it vanished. The phone has been working for a few days now.
