My does the same thing...it was working perfectly for over 1 week after unlock and all of a sudden now the phone will freeze (or shuts off) when it goes to sleep pass 15 secs. Can't tell if it froze or it shut off cause the next time i press the wake button, i see the apple logo and the phone boots up. Just like everyone else the phone works file if it's plugged in (either to pc or to wall)

Only thing i could remember was i plugged the phone into my iHome alarm clock with ipod dock to see if it works. When i press ipod button on the alarm clock the screen when white. I pulled it out and had to push home+sleep button to shut the phone off. The next day i notice my phone wouldn't sleep anymore.

Yes the tool arrived yesterday.

I am trying to contact phatboy to have info about the source of that photo.
I havent found any other post about this fix.
In the photo is not clear if you make a hardwire between the two components, or only one, and an error may damage the hole board.
If you find more info and details about this fix, I will do it right away.

Finally I tried, and it didn´t work. I made the same as the picture. Result, my iphone doesn´t go off anymore, and still do not awake.

The instructions must be incorrect.
