Can't help you with the whole 'in stock' thing but iFixit have some and they do ship overseas.

I am in Singapore. I have ordered last Friday, and the status is shipped since Wednesday. I would expect it to arrive today or tomorrow. I will update here when I have receive it.

I have received the cover this morning. It's mailed out from Hong Kong via normal registered mail. The quality of the cover is excellent, it might be an OEM direct from the sub-contractor of Apple.

Here's the pic. The left is the new cover, apparently without the 8GB engraving.
