    Default Shutdown/Restart iPhone with command/application?

    Hi.

For the time my sleep/wake button doesnt't work, I've ordered some new parts to replace but until then I am not able to shutdown my iPhone. Could anyone make an application for me or is it a script I can run in the MobileTerminal? It' seems to be some kind of zsh-commands - and I know nada.

    Please help ?

True. You can also just use the Home button to turn it on - but it won't turn it off.

Install SysInfo and you can use it to reboot or restart the springboard. Plus its a pretty handy little app.

I know this is an old thread, but figured I'd chime in, and help out whoever reads this later. The command you're looking for is:

    shutdown -h now

What it means: Run the shutdown command, using the "halt" parameter, and do it now. You'll likely need to elevate your privileges.
