Setting up the MMS app for o2 UK?
Hi,
Ive downloaded the new MMS app from installer for sending multimedia picture messages and am trying to input the required settings to send the pics via my operator o2,
The required fields are-
MMSC:
and
Proxy:
I did a few google searchs and came up with the o2 contract settings as follows-
MMS Generic Settings
Homepage- http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
Session Mode- Permanent
Data Bearer- GPRS
GPRS access point- wap.o2.co.uk
IP Address- 193.113.200.195
Authentication Mode- Normal
Username- o2wap
Password- password
But, im not sure if The correct fields I require are in this and if so which ones? I've tried a inputting a few of them, but, kept getting message failed, I was going to contact o2 , but, seeing as this application is not a standard feature on the iphone, I was unsure if they would be able to help me,
Has anyone else done this already for o2 or Can anyone tell me what the settings are that I need?
Thanks in Advance

I'm using.....
MMSC:
mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
Proxy:
193.113.200.195:8080
and it seems to be working fine as I can send and the people I am sending to are receiving.
But other o2 users are having problems. I am on a standard o2 data tariff not an iPhone tariff and it seems that those on a dedicated iPhone tariff might be having a hard time.
Don't forget to turn off the WiFi before sending.....
