Hi

I have an HW unlocked Iphone, which i am using with an Orange UK sim, Which is the best setting for EDGE? I have seen two different ones:

APN: orangeinternet
USERNAME: user
PASSWORD: pass

or

APN: orangewap
USERNAME: orange
PASSWORD: multimedia

Any advice would be much appreciated.

The "normal" internet access point is supposed to be

name: "orangeinternet"
user: "Orange"
pass: "Multimedia"

It is the same user and pass for both the older "orangewap" access point name and the newer "orangeinternet". AFAIK the orangewap is now the same as orangeinternet anyway.

Could you post a speed test please?

just did a test via: www.iphonenetworktest.com and it cam back with avarage speed of 223kbps

I got 132.9kbps on iphonenetworktest.com with 5/5 bars and Edge on Orange UK.

anyone tested t mobile on the following settings

my test results were 289.3? seems faster than it is thoug?

Which network?

whenever i try and put my edge settings in for orange uk i fill in the top box hit return and it keeps on returning me to the home screen.. any ideas??
