EDIT: I have now tested this script on my own version 1.0.0 iPhone and can confirm it works fine.

I've made a small bash script to backup the existing certificate files and replace them with the new files. This is just to help those who aren't *nix savvy enough to do it themselves, or not confident enough. It is a bash script, so please cat it if you are suspicious.

FYI: This script will run from anywhere, however MAKE SURE the certificate files are in the same directory as the script.

It backs the files up then moves the replacements in place. It is for people who arent confident using UNIX, all they need to do is run the script and it'll do it all for you. Assuming you've broken jail, and all the relevant binaries (cp, mv, echo, test) are chmod'd to 555.

Tried to get youtube working by "hand" but no chance....have no experience in this things and all i was able to do (by step by step tutorial) was so install applications on iphone over scp connection.
(which i got running somehow...)

Hope there will me some way to get this youtube.app working for people like me who have not so much experience in terminal.

Your problem is that you are running scp from the same place. You need to run scp from your Mac. If you use iPhoneinterface / iPHUC / whatever to put my fixyt.tar and the 3 files in the root directory of the iPhone, expand the fixyt.tar and run it. You need to make sure you have the binkit installed.

Just an update, have got home and tested it out on my iPhone and can confirm the script works, and it would seem does no damage to your iPhone. I may edit it to allow the changes to be reversed if anyone desires.

This should be the direct link, try this. I am currently waiting on a private message response from deja to allow me to make this a complete fix. If there is enough demand ill add features to reverse the changes, as well as allowing the firmware version to be specified.

I'm sorry but I'm really not very savy in the terminal and stuff. I tried jailbreaking with iactivator, and then start iphuc but couldnt figure out getfile or putfile syntax. Will this script do that. And how do I run it? From terminal using ./ or is it and apple script?
I found another script in here to install dropbear and jailbreak through terminal but that was a .sh script and I don't know what that is either.
help please.
