What's wrong with the screen protector that came with the iphone, guys?

I've left that one on, and snipped off the bit at the bottom that overlaps and it seems perfect.

besides the fact that it's ugly, it's prone to scratches over time and will inevitably wear off. using it for now is fine, but i can't imagine it lasts that long

i wouldn't recommend anything other than the invisishield technology (either shieldzone or another vendor that licenses the 3M product)

they should add a nice leather case

I am using the "Crystal Film Set" by Power Support. It is WAY better and much more clear than the original supplied packaging film. It is harder as well and will protect to some degree. It even adds a slight drag to the touch which seems to help my crazy fingers.

But hey, if yours works thats cool and free.

The original? That thing covered the phone speaker and made it almost impossible to use without the headphones or bluetooth. If you don't want to use it as a phone I guess it would be okay but there are some really good covers out that don't cover the speaker.
