Default Screen protection film (Keep or Remove?)

Hi all, now that my iPhone is unlocked I can use the Phone feature, great. However I do have an issue typing the number on the phone keyboard. The middle row (4 5 6) is really difficult to get right and most of the time I end up typing a 3 or 9 instead of 6 etc...this is really annoying.

I get the same problems in other applications when I need to type or slide button in that same area of the screen (if you divide the screen in 4, it would be the 2 top area), for instance, to change the time setting to auto or manual takes me several tries.

Anyone else got the same problems?

I was wondering if this is due to fact that I kept the original screen protection cover or this has nothing to do with it. and is it safe to remove it without getting scratches all over the place.

A friend of mine broke his iPhone some time ago. So we decided to test the screen. I was holding the iPhone and the friend was trying to do scratch with a key, then a screwdriver and finally with a knife. We have not been able to do a single scratch. The screen is incredible. It's not the same for the back and the chrome border.

    Remove, I did.
The protection scratches, the iPhone screen does not.
It looks cooler without the plastic, also remember that it
    covers the speaker.
