    All

    My iphone screen , well the unlock slider becomes unresponsive sometimes, and i need to keep hitting the sleep and homes buttons a few times so that it will start to responde again, has anyone had these issues, or seen of this ?

    Could it be that the screen has gone

    If it was a hardware problem (dead strip) it wouldn't respond never at all. If it sometimes not respond it's most likely a software issue. Try to restore to solve the situation. Good luck.

    nope just did the normal iunlock hack on 1.0.2 first, and it was all fine then after a month or so this happened. I have had this phone since it was first released in NYC.. got it shipped back to UK and ran the unlocks.

    So at the moment i did this on the weekend to try and see if it helped.

    - format 1.0.2
    - run virgin tool
    - upgrade to 1.1.1
    - run anySimfree

    All working cool but still get this issue.

    Version = 1.1.1 ( 3A109a)
    Model = MA712LL
    Firmware = 04.01.13_G

    Just tried the method http://limitededitioniphone.com/ipho...e-sensitivity/ and it seems to be okay, so far. Will post again later today if it is still working.

    I have an iPhone here on which the touchscreen stopped responding right after changing the SIM card.

    I fails to respond at all. Home button and power button works, but touching the screen gives nothing.

    Pressing the power button 5 sec gives me a slider on the upper part, but the touchscreen doesn't respond.

    I have tried reflashing with 1.0.2 stock apple, but the sliders is unusable still.

    Used iBrickr to activate, but still the screen doesn't respond.

    Any ideas?
