The factor that is holding things up is the new Address space layout randomization (ASLR) included in iOS 4.3, this breaks the current MobileSubstrate and makes it harder to inject the updated ultrasn0w unlock into iOS 4.3

Unlocking 03.10.01 on iOS 4.2.1 is already possible, but the iPhone dev team will probably delay the revealing of the new baseband exploit until they can get it also working against iOS 4.3

So. if you want to be unlocked on 03.10.01 - save your 4.2.1 SHSH as soon as possible and avoid upgrading to iOS 4.3

How do i know if i SHSH my iPhone or not

i kinda forgot if i pressed "Make my life easier" or it just never came up.

download TinyUmbrella from here The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella
Run TinyUmbrella, connect your phone, when it appears click "save SHSH". Check the log to confirm that you saved a 4.2.1 SHSH

"make my life easier" may not grab your SHSH until several days later. TinyUmbrella grabs your SHSH straight away (if Apple is still signing 4.2.1)
