Default [Rumor] Is Apple holding off selling iPhones ?

Checked out two stores yesterday and both were out of stock. Buffalo's store has been out of stock for a while now. The one is Cleveland is also out of stock.
Any other stores out of stock?

Online it is out-of-stock but is it still available in stores? Which city in UK it is available in the o2 and carphonewarehouse?

    Thanks.

People are saying Apple is getting ready to release the iPhone 2, that's why they're not making the current version of iPhones anymore.

I ordered my replacement iPhone from the Online Apple Store UK about a week or so ago, and it arrived the following day.. I know of others that have had similar speedy service recently so maybe/maybe not.

I have heard that the 8Gb model is going to be phased out though - everywhere seems to be having sales of them.

Well getting a replacement Iphone is different from buying a new one. Apple has to honor the warranty (in your case replacement) but they can withhold selling them!
