Where di you get this information ? I strongly advise NOT to use this since it's not a rogers wireless official line. I work at a Rogers Retail store and I contacted my retailers help number about this and they said they don't have anything in their archives about the *233 line. I'd love something like this but it seems like it's a scam

It doesn't look like iPhone would work:

Oh Roger. How I hate thee.
Telus will be GSM by Q1 2009 according to a combination of rumour and fact.
Let's collectively pray that they get gsm microwaves on their towers faster so that we can all quit our sick relationship with the monopoly known as Roger and his dog Fido. This is effing sick. I need to quit this habit.

Well it seems like the guy from the retailer help line was either a dumbass, not informed yet since it's new stuff, or both
Or maybe it's not avaiable in quebec ? anyways it doen't apply to iPhone users anyways :

Well, since they're restricting this to certain devices, there's the speculation that they're actually doing IMEI-matching to ensure that only certain devices work.
It's more likely, however, that they're just controlling it by billing for any access that doesn't occur through their WAP portal, and possibly tracking the browser identifier as well. Their terms and conditions state that things like Google Maps and Yahoo Go! are also not included in the plan, on any device, likely because these aren't trackable as authorized applications and/or they may simply send data directly to and from the Internet rather than through Rogers' proxy servers via the WAP browser.
Somebody over at Howardforums came up with a way of reconfiguring the iPhone to send all traffic through the APN for the WAP service, but I suspect that this would be slower, and would still be extremely risky, since Rogers may still be matching browser headers and/or IMEI numbers (I personally think IMEI-matching is very unlikely due to the sheer volume of different phones out there, but looking for the proper Rogers browser identifier is very possible).

Is this possible? Yes.
The APN settings on this unlimited plan are the same used for their previously available VISION plan. The service is intended for vision phones and other Rogers available cell phones that can access the internet. They specifically say it's not to be used for tethering (ie. used as a modem) or apps that you download to a normal cell phone like google maps mobile.
Can you get away with using this service on an iphone...yes.
However if your usage is out of the ordinary then the account would be flagged and you would be charged at their per kilobyte rate of 5cents per kb...if you work out the math it works out to $50 per MB.
The iphone is a high bandwidth device...searching a single location in google maps on the iphone consumes about 300K...an ebay search can use about 500k.
So the answer is...if you want to risk it, the risk is yours. This is not an unlimited plan for the iphone...if you go way over say 10MB, you'll be flagged...the account can be deactivated and you will be charged.
