[Ringtones] How to get a NORMAL one ?
I cant beleave how utterly awful the builtin "ring" tones are on the iPhone.
I tried looking for ways to get ringtones from iTunes, but all I see are ways to convert music into ring tones.
I just want to find some NORMAL ringers to put on mine.

There may be an easier way out there, but this is what i found through reading random posts.
I use iPhoneBrowser which i downloaded free it allows you to get into the areas your not meant to i guess.
Won't work if your phones not jailbroken!
And you'll need a splitter, i use Cool MP3 Splitter. It's alright, but you might want to ask around i couldn't find a freeware one any where at the time.
Basicly you use the splitter to cut down the song etc, then put it in itunes & convert the format over to AAC and then use iphonebrowser to put ringtone in iphone.
This should give you a rough idea, but if you search all the posts you might find something easier.

Sendsong for version less than 1.1.3
For all those who have version less than 1.1.3 and still want to install Sendsong the following method will be helpful.
1.Download SendSong-0.30.zip from http://ericasadun.com/ftp/Applications/SendSong/
2.Login the iphone using winscp http://limitededitioniphone.com/wind...p-with-iphone/
3.Use "alpine" for authentiating and "dottie" for logginging into iphone
4.Copy the unzipped contents to the applications folder.
5.To set file permissions(CHMOD) right click on the folder or file and select properties.
6.change the Octal to 0755 for sendsong and 0644 for the rest of the files.
7.Disconnect winscp
8.Restart the phone
