Hi All -

About 3 or 4 months ago, I dropped my 2G iPhone. The frame around the Ring/Silent switch was warped, and the switch cannot make contact to set it to ring, so its on vibrate permanently. I don't get any audio from the speakers, whether its the phone ringing or audio from music or apps.

Is there any way to override this switch with an application or piece of software that is out there?

Any help would be appreciated.

you'll have to take it apart. It's not that bad really

Or you could do a factory reset and send it in for repair. - NOTE always do a factory reset before you take it in for repair..you might have to pay a little for the repair but your phone will be repaired ...and working like NEW.
