I cut my ribbon cable which connects headphones/sound adjustor/silent button/power button
now my phone always feels that the headphones are connected
i tried cleaning the headphone jack but the cable is cut anyway
the only way i can make calls is by using the speaker...
is there anyway i can switch it back permanently??

Only option is to replace the connection. There are several online shops that sell iphone parts, also try ebay.

i am gonna order a new one i am just asking for a temporary solution so i can make calls without using the speaker
everything else works ok.

You could use a bluetooth headset.
