I have the black negative issues and am planning to restore my iphone to the virgin state using this method and bringing it to the apple store for an exchange.

has anyone done this and was able to do an exchange at an apple store? I'm afraid that the mac geniuses can still check if the phone was previously unlocked.

if you virginize it, they won't be able to tell short of putting a tmobile (or some other sim) in it and testing it. You're golden.

have you virginized the phone before to send it in for a replacement? how sure are you about this?
