I've unlocked using the free unlock but paid for IphoneSimfree as well...
Now i want to restore my phone and jailbreak again with the new independence (fixes youtube automatically), and then unlock the phone again with iphonesimfree..

Is this possible? How do i make this restore?

You only get one unlock with IphoneSimfree (as far as we know). Restoring your phone does not relock it unless the baseband firmware is upgraded (presently 1.02).

You can go ahead and apply the new independence hack and you phone will still be unlocked.

To restore the phone hold on the on/off switch and home button for 25 seconds until the yellow triangle appears on the phone and then connect to iTunes and select restore.

I did a restore using iTunes 7.4.1 on two iPhones which already had FW 1.0.2 and the baseband unlock hack and both phones needed to be software unlocked again. Apparently the iTunes recovery process overwrites EVERYTHING on the iPhone, incl. the modem firmware to make sure that the recovery works fine.
Using OSX, it took me around ten minutes (not included the 20 min. of unlock firmware update) or so to software unlock one phone, so when you get used to it, it works really fast.

I did software unlock, but now you tube doesn't work full stop. Doesn't matter what I do, I tried all the ways discussed in this forum (pacay, independence 1.2.1). It jsut doesn't work.

Funny too when I restore the firmware, the phone is still unlocked. Can you tell me how I can restore everything including baseband firmware ?
